Chive hope you’ve had a good day today and haven’t been blown about too much.  I hope things are okay for Topbird.  LB put your feet up for the evening.  Hope Lily’s snuggled up.  Watching the walks with Julia Bradbury.

Hope T’bird isn’t still lugging logs... Nah Chive. Most of the logs are shifted but gave up with about 30 to go. My back was singing to me and I know better than to ignore it. Came in and had a long hot bath instead.

OH was supposed to be coming home tonight. Got 10 mins from his mums when I rang him to tell him the A1 was closed because of a serious accident. His brother had just phoned to say their dad was being moved to the HDU because they’re concerned about his blood pressure. Great believer in signs so I told him he’s not meant to come home tonight and to go back to his mum’s. Wait to see what he decides to do tomorrow. If he’s staying a few more days I’ll probably drive up tomorrow.

We’ll see - so difficult to know what to do and when to do it. Life would be much easier if they weren’t nearly 200 miles away.

Debs - good news about the kitchen etc. Will be even better if you get to have some input for the design.

T'Bird, I think you made the right decision in advising your OH to stay over and if you feel it right, to join him up there. Did your in-laws actually manage to enjoy any part of their holiday or not? A worrying time for you all. Thinking about you.x

The sky is a wonderful shade of pink so I don't think that is a good omen for today. The question is: 'Do I go shopping or do I do some h*******k?'
    Hmmmm, I'll make my list!

Good morning all, thinking of you topbird and hoping you get some relief from all the worry, family are such a worry aren’t they?
Chive and all who asked my son is doing so well and going back to Liverpool on Saturday.
I can design kitchen and choose flooring etc just need to get quotes etc but I am going fairly traditional with cream shaker cupboards and wood effect worktops nothing that will date and as it’s a tiny kitchen trying to maximise storage space etc.
LB I think a bit of retail therapy is the way to go

LB if you go out please take care .
Debs it’s good to hear that your son is recovering so well from a horrid condition. Now you will be
able to have some fun planning your kitchen.
