That’s a lovely kindle of kittens LB (although they look like more of a snuggle to me!).
Off to bed soon. Nothing quite like lying (I can’t say sleeping!) in MIL’s spare bed to make me appreciate my own. Night all😴

Happy Birthday for yesterday Hazel! Sounds like you had a busy and enjoyable day.
LB have a great day with your family.
I have a day of moving furniture and sorting out stuff today again I will be ruthless, I have so much tat and this is a good opportunity to have a good clear out and help out a few good causes with donations to my local charity shops. Anyone else keep stuff as” that will come in useful” and then fail to find it when they need it?

Morning - it's blowing a hooley here and a little horizontal light rain - the sort that catches you unawares when you nip out to the bins etc.

Happy birthday for yesterday Hazel - sounds like a good one. Hope OH feels better soon.

LB - enjoy your visit. Will there be tales of daring-do in the bad weather I wonder?

Debs - my personal collecting habit is boxes. Never throw away the boxes electronics come in 'just in case' they need to be returned for repair.  Also cannot bring myself to throw away a 'good' box - ie one that is a 'good' size or shape for putting awkwardly shaped Christmas presents in. The OCD part of me loves to see a pile of nice regular shaped presents under the tree, tidily wrapped - don't like squishy, untidy parcels. How sad.

I also have too many clothes - one size too small - 'just in case' I lose a bit of excess weight.

PS - why am I seeing adverts for luxury retreats priced in US dollars?🤔 Wish my adblocker still worked.

Hello all. The sun is shining here so if you are short let me know and I'll send Al down the tunnel with some. Debs I'm ace I keeping stuff that might 'come in useful' and it never does so I've been on a ruthless slash and burn for the last few years. I give stuff to the charity shops, sell stuff at my local auction and I've got a season ticket for the recycle centre (the one next door to favourite GC!) As much as I dispose of stuff I can never see the alledged spaces these clear outs will produce. I must be doing something wrong!
Tale from handy brother (the one who ignores Road Closed signs). The pub (The Woolpack - but not THAT one!) where nephew had his wedding reception last year, has a lovely lawned drinking area out side with picnic tables. It was under a foot of water so what did the mad men do, only took off their boots and socks, rolled up their trousers and waded out to the middle of the lawn and sat down at a picnic table to drink their pints. Apparently it was very cold! Well there's a surprise. I'm glad I'm the only sane member of my family. Or am I?
