Good morning all! Wet and windy here so once don has left to go home to Liverpool I will make a start on packing and sorting ready for all the decorating to come.
Ante hope you soon feel 100% and can get into the garden, I too am desperate to start but it needs to all go on hold for a few weeks. Spring is nearly here there are crocuses and daffodils opening up everywhere.
Chive I think the poor birds would be swept away and not much fun standing in the wind and rain for the humans either!
    LB enjoy the rugby.
    Have a good Saturday everyone

Morning all . I do hope all the colds soon disappear. They are such a nuisance and very tiring. I love raptors of  any kind Chive . What an experience that will be .

No chance of that Rubee, both cats are sulking because their best friend has just left,  so I need to sit with them this afternoon,it was sad to see him go but he is so much better and will be home again soon he says.

Debs I’m so pleased your son has made such a good recovery and is able to go home, although will be much missed by you and the cats.   Chive I hope the raptor display will be able to go ahead weather permitting.  I remember seeing a selection of large owls at a display some years ago.  They were very beautiful such amazing eyes.  LB it’s good your family have been able to get out on a few weeks even though sadly the weather has not been very good.  I could not get out of bed this morning.  My best wishes to Runny, Pansy and MU should you be looking on line.  Ante I hope you are able to get rid of your cold soon.  There are quite a few ladies on resurrected that have continued with a returning cold for some while.  LB I hope your feeling better today after getting wet the other day.  Topbird I hope you have further good news regarding fil and that he’s more comfortable.

I've had a falconry experience before - heavy birds too!

Very windy here and the sky is rather grey..

Glad your son is better Debs!

Well two very contrasting matches there. Poor Italy whacked by Scotland in a very mediocre match but the second one - Wales v France was a belter! France pipped Wales in a very exciting and well fought game.
    Hi Chey. Are you OK?
Snap Chive. I had Lily's TV on earlier whilst I was gardening! Just as the first match was kicking off the sky went black and there was an absolute deluge of hail and sleet. Mad dash to get everything in off my whirligig and the cloth things were aired off on the radiators. I was glad to get that lot done.

Evening everyone - glad you’re all ok (coughs and colds not withstanding). Shame the falconry session was postponed - sure it will be wonderful when it happens.

I got home last night and have had a bit of a catch-up day today. OH came home this morning as he has commitments next week which he doesn’t want to cancel unless absolutely necessary. Just spoke to MIL & it sounds as though FIL is continuing to make dolly steps (Ante = very small) in the right direction.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    I'm good! Takeaway pizza tonight.

Never heard that term before TBird! Glad FIL is on the mend!

Evening T'Bird. The word 'dolly' struck a chord with me. My quizzy friend from Crewe, who goes to France with us, poo poos the tiny espresso cups and she always says when we go fo coffees, 'Mind you, I don't want any of those dolly cups.' It makes us all smile.
Good news about Debs' son being completely recovered and nice to hear your FIL is slowly on the mend.
