Morning those yet to rise.  I’ve had an early breakfast and just about to have a cup of tea.  I hope you slept well.  Chive enjoy your day off today.   It’s been snowing overnight I noticed when I peered out of the window.  It makes everywhere look charming before the first feet tread upon it.  Very quiet and still.  Hazel daffodils are one of my favourites too.

Morning Rosie and all to follow. No snow here just a gazillion gallons of rain!

I think I may get soaked today as I go for my contact lens appointment in town. I better dig out my waterproofs!

Morning LB I used to wear contacts but kept losing them down the loo.  Wrap up today and keep dry.  Lovely picture of a robin.  My favourite bird.

Random question of the day: “Have we had a crab sandwich in Falmouth?”
OH’s first words as I awoke this morning. Don’t ask. Gotta love ‘em.

Morning all🙂. Snow - brrr - bet it’s a bit warmer than it was in Germany though! We’ve just got heavy drizzle - lovely.

Office for me this morning - best crack on.

    Enjoy your Monday folks.

Morning T'Bird - you should have pounced and said 'Thank you for the invitation! When are we going?'
Rosie - I'm not even going to ask!

Back from town. Still raining. My contact lens man, David, who has been looking after my eyes for more years than I care to remember, travels down to town from Ulverstone every day. He drives to the station where he picks up the train to get down here. He told me he had a foot of snow on his car roof this morning. He wanted to know all about the Eskdale gang and what they had been up to. I do not need to change my contacts which is good. Picked up my new specs and witnessed a very ugly confrontation between a guy and an assistant. She handled it very well but other assistants available began to flock around. Basically he was saying that the glasses they had provided him with were not doing their job. Assistant had his prescription to hand from his last test and assured him the glasses were made to his prescription. I got called away then so sadly didn't manage to hear anything further. Don't you just love people watching??!
SGL, I have a friend who used to live in Bognor and now lives in Patcham - which I believe is East Sussex so she has moved a little.
p.s. I meant to say that your garden looks magical with its dusting of snow Ruby. I agree with SGL, its not nice when people trample all over it and spoil the pristine effect.

Lily i lived in Worthing.    I had a few hours in bed this morning after a sleepless night so I’ve caught up now.  I’ve given Alfie a trim surprisingly he let me do it fora short while.  I’ve booked a mobile groomer for Saturday as he won’t let me tidy up round his bottom and it really needs doing so I’m hoping he’ll behave himself.
