Morning. Looks to be dry and sunny outside so may shift some more logs in a bit. Ten hours sleep last night - bliss! I was really tired... No phone calls so far. MIL can sleep for England when the need takes her so I’ll wait until about 11 before phoning.

I’m considering buying a new obelisk LB. i have a rose (Buff Beauty) which is a shrub rose but the new growth is a bit whippy, long and gangly so I might try training it as a short climber.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Morning Hazel and T'Bird. I've been researching Utilities companies as I need to switch again soon. It is a nightmare. Whichever provider you go to they have a myriad tariffs so you are completely bemused at the end of it. Why they cannot just have one tariff is a mystery to me.
T'Bird, just pay attention to your back when you start shifting the logs again. If the back says 'No!' then stop. I hope that the hailstones haven't wetted the logs too much. Your MIL sounds just like my Bestie. She is not a morning person.

Hazel, I'm hoping that is just in the waiting area and not in Court otherwise you will look like Madame Defarge!

Hello girls and boys.  Topbird it sounds like your fil is being well looked after.   I don’t know how long it takes to drain your lungs, depending on how much/what needs to be drained.  I do hope he has been sleeping and is fairly comfortable.  Thinking of you all.  Hazel you made me smile thinking of you knitting in the waiting room, as LB says Mme Dufarge.  I’m sorry you haventslept.  It is exhausting when you’ve been up all night you don’t function properly.  Anyway try some honey and hot milk to relax you.  Chive I haven’t started taking my vitamins apart from vit d3 as I’m having an mri scan with dye on Thursday afternoon on my brain.  It’s a mobile unit at the hospital but apparently not a lot of room.  Luckily Rubees coming with me.  I’ll just have to give my jeans a miss and wear some smart trousers.   LB hope you find a suitable utilities company Octopus are recommended.  Topbird be careful lifting logs, don’t overdo it.

Afties Ruby. I sometimes think our various tablets/mobiles/laptops go ahead and do their own thing. Mine seen to go bonkers after they have an update. Well obelisk is up and it was quite easy to put together so all I need now is the clemmies to swarm up and cover it. I am so impressed with this obelisk I am thinking about where I could place another one. Changed my energy suppliers too so that is two major things off the 'to do' list. I am done outside for today as the temperature seems to have dropped again.

Thank you ladies.  LB I’m sure the obelisk will look beautiful when the clemmies are in flower.  What a good idea.  I’ve been out for some fresh air but quite wet and blowie.  Hair was interesting when I made it home😀.

You are brave Rosie. Since doing my job outside the weather has reverted to hail and rain again with subsequent temperature drop. There are some very cute alpacas on TV this p.m.

Well the fingers worked! We are getting a brand new kitchen and new flooring in hall and porch and possibly a new front door and also new carpet in front room. Now all I need is a magic wand to wave so it’s all done tomorrow! It’s going to be a lot of work and mess and bother but hopefully it will look lovely and I do like a project!
LB you have been busy as always, Rosie it’s very wet and windy here not walking weather at all. Good luck for Thursday.
I love the idea of ladies knitting away and delivering justice!

Excellent news Debs. Let's hope that you aren't too inconvenienced by the work going on around you.
