Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to ask but can anyone recommend smallish gardens to visit in Bucks/Herts sort of area? I'm looking for inspiration but the big gardens leave me feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm a NT member but not RHS if that helps?
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

I don’t know your area well, but why not checkout the NGS website? If you put in your postcode it will tell you all the private gardens that are opening Near you in the next 7 days (or next month if you change the setting).  At the moment they are only taking online bookings in advance, but it keeps the numbers manageable, and the ones I’ve visited were very easy to social distance in.

@London_to_Latimer, in Hertfordshire a friend of mine visited a couple of gardens l hadn't heard of , Cheslyn House and gardens

    and Pembroke Farm Gardens

Bear in mind this was a couple of years ago,so things may have changed, and of course the current situation plays a part, but they might be worth a look :) .

@chicky @AnniD thank you both. Didn't think about NGS and both of your suggestions, Anni, are open so that gives me some options.

Thank you for the advice @chicky - I totally forgot about the NGS. Just booked myself a nice little garden visit for Saturday ☺️

We have a new laptop now so I can post photos of The Old Vicarage at East Ruston, Norfolk. We went there yesterday with a couple of friends, in separate cars because of Covid 19, and took a picnic. It was a lovely warm day.
