Just heard that my niece and her husband, living in London, have both had the virus and survived. She was ill for a fortnight but he only had a mild dose. Good news for a change.
On a day which isn't great for my family, I looked out the front window randomly, to see this His/her wee beak was stuffed to the brim with the jute string tying netting on to protect the new seeds
I can't tell you how much it lifted my spirits.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
On a personal note. I am happy that I won't have to go on holiday this year and hope that my plants won't die while I'm away RTBC no2 it's been xxxxxxx down for two days. That means I can get my trowel in the soil for 3 or 4 days!
I dont know about nature never failing us, I think its doing that now!! Reasons to be cheerful, anyone see last nights news in East Sussex, a huge rainbow appeared at 8pm, and then a chap in Eastbourne, (ex railway worker)has got full size rail track and a trolley car which is a fabulous "man cave", complete with a little woodburner, sofa,I hope he opens his garden in the future to the public.
