The blackbirds in our garden already have young which are very close to fledging.

I never quite believed the thing about birds hoovering up aphids. We have a couple of of flocks of sparrows, blue tits and goldfinches doing such a great job that there's practically nothing to rub off my roses!

Forgot to say earlier @Dovefromabove.  I like the style of your new seat but was it ordered before or after social distancing came in?  Only room for one!

I like that seat as well. My RTBC today is that my lovely hairdresser has just called to check we're okay. It's fine for us, we've got a large garden to play in but she lives in a rather small top floor flat. She's says she's missing working with all her customers and can't wait to go back.

We have two “two seater” garden benches in the garden @Obelixx ... sadly neither of them will quite fit between the uprights of the pergola ... a matter  of millimeters  ... hence a long search for a single seater that we liked ... and then it was in a Sale 😀
