On another very happy note we watched the 1st episode of "life in a country garden" last night very pleasant TV 1 episode a week should get us to Christmas (it'll be our TV highlight of the week). Thanks @LG_
Even better news my wonderful mum has said she'll buy me a pair of very pricey Japanese hand shears 😃😃😃 clearly lockdown has had a strange effect on her. I did try for a ford Mustang 🐎🐎 but she seemed to go into some sort of fit at that 😵😵.
As of Saturday we can go up to 20kms and stay out for 3 hours so Possum and I and maybe OH too will be off to the beach for walkies on Monday. They'll be too busy at eh weekend but the sight and sound of the ocean will lift spirits no end.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

By comparison, restrictions in my area aren't too bad then. All shops will be reopening next week, not that I like shopping! We can go out and about as much as we want, but still can't meet other family members in our own home. Still b****y annoying when our next door neighbours have visitors every day.
Here, we have restrictions on who, what and when. We have had no visitors and have not gone visiting. As far as I understand it, we still have to have our piece of paper to say who we are, where we live and what we're doing if stopped by the police or a gendarme plus ID to back it up. As of Saturday all shops can open again but not bars, cafés, restaurants.
As of 15/12, all movement restrictions will be lifted if, and only if, infections fall to 5000 a day across France and outdoor exercise will be allowed but there will be a daily curfew form 9pm to 7am except on Christmas and NY Eves. No mass gatherings anywhere. This will be reviewed on Jan 20 and if all is well secondary schools can start extra curricular activities again and university classes can start again 15 days later.

My rtbc is I have been "allowed" to order a new tripod ladder. I have one already but it's too short. I have managed to pass it on to someone I work with at Capel Manor. So I am getting the size I should have bought in the first place.
