Josusa that is NOT in your meal plan!!! My youngest daughter is 5.4ins 7 st, when she is stressed like me, looses weight, managed to get up to 8 on lockdown, lost it since being back at work.  I have never been able to understand the consept of comfort eating, if I am stressed, the stomach closes up completely.  I filled out at the menopause.  I enoyy my food, but my portion sizes are smaller than my youngest grandkid, boy 9.

As I mentioned, my dad was 6 ft 2 and under 10 stone.  In fact his weight never varied by more than a pound or two from 9 stone 10 lb.  He had major heart surgery and the hospital vowed they would put weight on him.  He was in hospital for nearly 3 months (this back in the day when they believed the heart needed to rest to aid recovery) and then manage to put 4 lb on him.  He lost it again as soon as he got any exercise.

Had a look for the comet NEOWISE last night and had my first try at getting a pic. The camera can do much better than this if I get my technique right, hoping for clear skies again tonight now that I know where it is.

Well done @steephill.  We had another look at it last night and it's a bit less clear than a few days ago but has a longer looking tail.

Ha! I think I may have the biggest garden in the world.

This month’s GW magazine quiz pp 120 - 121. Q12 What garden is the biggest in the world? Answer: Dubai Miracle Garden (approx 72 square metres). Mine beats that!

Whoops!  Think 'someone' has left a few zeros off 🤣  Mine beats that too ... and mine's one of the smallest I've had.

Wiki says "...The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in the district of Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The garden was launched on Valentine's Day in 2013. The garden occupies over 72,000 square metres, making it the world's largest natural flower garden featuring over 50 million flowers and 250 million plants..."

  • It is difficult to photograph, it is hard to get it in the frame with a long lens when it is so faint! This is with a 250mm lens, about half of the frame. It shows a bit of structure near the nucleus.
