The livery place lady was lovely and knowledgeable about horses. She rescues animals too and birds of prey. Had 6 dogs, from a tiny Yorkshire terrier to a large elegant greyhound and various rescue pigs. Her Arab horse is gorgeous. Her house was a tip and the barns in a mess but does that matter? I don't think so, the animals all looked happy and healthy. I liked her.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Sounds as if she’d rather be with the horses than doing the housework @Busy-Lizzie ... that’s about par for the course for all the stables I’ve ever known 😉 One house I remember had nearly as much straw in the house as in the looseboxes 😂 and snaffles, kimblewicks and curb chains went in the dishwasher more often than the coffee mugs ... absolutely true 👍

@Pat E hope he gets a good night’s sleep tonight - getting involved is obviously part of his DNA .......what a guy 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
An exciting day for me today - heading into London this evening for a talk by Monty and Piet Oudolf 😀😀😀. The chicklets are astounded at the rock and roll life I lead 🎸 Very much looking forward to it.
