  • Hi everyone just caught up again, having some bright dry days at last have been catching up in the garden with jobs that should have been done ages ago but hey ho.
We have friends coming to visit this W/E so went shopping early and OH has been pre cooking in readiness with me as sous chef as usual.
Glad to see about the rain in OZ @Pat E.

Yes - @Pat E hope that rain was seen and felt and not just heard.

I have no idea what my mobile phone is but the screen is too small and life is too short to type anything more than occasional short text messages on it.Ā  It's for emergencies only.

Have a good time with your visitors @Allotment Boy.Ā  Must be the season.Ā  We are starting to have quite a few "are you free" messages from people fancying a jaunt in France before things get silly.

    Evening. Hope everyone ok.Ā

What a busy week! I’m full of curry and my eyes are burning with tiredness, so I’ll be off to bed to watch QI soon. Might do some bits and bobs in the garden tomorrow as 1. Craving fresh air, 2. forecast is set be dry and 3. Sunday is a stormy, gale-force right-off.Ā

Its been a strange day ....my chicklets have had 42 birthdays between them, and this is the first one that I haven’t been there to help celebrate. Ā Littlest chicklet had the best day ever with the elephants (and for a girl not given to superlatives, that is praise indeed). Ā But I am very much counting the hours til I get to see her for real 😳

Meanwhile my Dad has achieved hero Grandad status, by not only following all his grandchildren on instagram, but also using that media to send birthday messages aswell. Ā Bless his heart šŸ˜šŸ˜¢

Hubby took me for a drive to show me some of the areas that he was working in earlier this week. Pretty devastating.

The rain is helping a bit, but I don’t know how much it’s helping in the centre of the fire. Can’t get there.Ā

Yay Chicky. That’s lovely to hear he is using the modern technology. I’m glad she had a good birthday.Ā
I think you will have some wet weather when you arrive.Ā
