Is it just where the stitches are @Busy-Lizzie? Sounds painful anyway. Commiserations.

Yes, you’re right Hosta. It’s such a change. And, we’re not stressing about fire coming into the valley any more. It might change in a week, but at least we’ve had a break from the stress.  I might unpack the car with all our precious things.  No hurry though, so will see how it goes.

    Fingers crossed for you all.
I can't begin to imagine what you've all gone through. I have to confess I had a wee tear or two explaining to Hubby about the car being packed up.

    Hi all

    Good news indeed @Pat E
Hope everyone is safe and warm, been a very stormy night here, whilst I have been awake fretting, Moira has been sound asleep. Does anyone else get annoyed as they toss and turn, but their partner is dead to the world?

I share the pain @punkdoc, Hubby sleeps through anything.

It’s usually me who is asleep Punkdoc, so I haven’t asked him if it annoys him. He doesn’t sleep well since the chemotherapy so even though I always ask him, in the morning, if he had a good sleep, he just shrugs as says as usual. 🙄
