Punkdoc, I’ve been thinking about your hesitation with the condolence message. How about telling her how much you admired him so much, for whatever reason?

We had pancakes with lemon for lunch. It was French pancake day on the 2nd Feb but I wasn't well enough.
Was going to garden this afternoon but it's been raining, not forecast. Seems to be clearing up so there is still hope.

@Pat E I've found your jigsaws at last and have done some.

We watched the programme about the Australian fires last night (I think it was Channel 4) - absolutely terrifying footage. Was so sad to see Kangeroo Island badly scorched, we made a special trip there for sentimental reasons on our visit to Oz and loved it. Kept thinking to you @Pat E, do hope the fires ease up soon.

  • Back from a bit of a checkup with the Practice Nurse ... BP behaving itself, bad cholesterol down, good cholesterol up, no sign of being pre diabetic, moles appear to be ok
    and despite my lurgy
and the remnants of that cough my chest sounds clear ... apparently I’m a picture of good health 🤸‍♂️ ... ish ... 😉 🤞

Good news @Dovefromabove - I have my checkups next week, let's hope my results are just as good.

Had a lovely day.  Can’t beat a sea of snowdrops on a cold winter’s afternoon 😀

Plus never knew you could get bamboo this black (if it wasn’t part of a clump I would have thought it had been painted) 🖤

Lovely photos @Chicky - we often pop into Kingston Lacey for coffee/lunch/walk/loo-stop on our way to and from Bournemouth. We really like it but haven't seen the snowdrops there

    Evening all.
Been a busy week, so only just catching up...

It wasn’t pitch black walking home today - hurray!
