I see all these young girls now dressing as Disney princesses and dreaming of being all fancy and royal. Or they see the royal weddings and think how lovely it must be to marry a prince. I was going to type that the reality seems to end up being a total car crash but...
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
I couldn't understand why everywhere i went in the house smelt of fox sh1t. It was because every i went in the house was covered in fox sh1t. It was on the soles and up the back of my shoes so even the risers on the stairs were covered. Fortunately, i have a little green Bissell but it was still hard work. Now the house smells of fox shit and carpet cleaner. To cap it all, when my husband gets home I'll have to listen to the itoldyounotto wearyourgardeningshoesinthehhouse litany😠
IF and it really is a big IF, the news reports are accurate (probably a first if they are) about the reaction of 'Senior Royals' then the announcement possibly has been handled poorly. Despite that I have enormous regard for Harry. Nobody should have had to go through what he did as a 12 year old, in the full public glare, and it's no surprise he has had problems ever since. He has made it very clear that he loathes much of the press, again no surprise has he holds them largely responsible for his mother's death. He has said that he is not prepared for his wife to suffer in the same way, and much of the press does seem to delight in taking a pop at her at any and every opportunity.
Let the two of them move away from incessant glare and him continue with his charity work, particularly that for injured Armed Services personnel.
Unfortunate use of words wild edges but Harry's life has been a determined by physical and metaphorical car crashes.
I just think it seems very discourteous to the Queen and his father not to have given them prior notice (if indeed that is what happened) before announcing it to the media. I don't care much either way what they do but good manners should dictate how you do it.

Maybe he's broached the subject in the past and been shot down with a " no chance " ?
None of us know what's gone on behind the scenes and , not that I give a toss, is it any of our business.
I see the loathsome Piers Morgan is laying it all on Meghan for " breaking up the royal family " as if poor poor dear sweet Harry A: doesn't have a mind of his own, B: Can't stand up for himself, or C: is so under her spell and he'll do whatever she says.
He's not a pet of his father or grandmother to perform whatever tasks they expect of him.
Beginning of the end of the Royal Family as we know it? I sincerely hope so.
Update: Mme Tussaud's has separated them from the rest of the family.

The initial reports claimed that it had been done with the complete support of the Queen. Now reports are claiming the exact opposite. Who knows which is the truth?
Not sure it actually matters except to the avid royal watchers. The press will pounce on any story - fact rarely comes into it. I'd guess the best thing about this new "Royal fiasco" is that it takes the limelight off Trump/Boris - for a short while anyway

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
