I thought Apple used their own proprietary music formats - or used to. Don't they use m4a or some such? Personally I dislike the use of proprietary gear/formats as you get trapped into that companies 'stuff'.
.It's the same with washing machines. 40 programmes when the average person uses only two or three.
This is due to more marketing lies. My machine is a super eco model A+ rating and does a nice big 8kg load which is perfect for 2 growing boys. Sadly when you look at the instructions the 8kg load is only available on one or two settings and those aren't the eco washes. The eco wash is only actually one setting, struggles with one lightly soiled sock and the timer for that cycle might as well use a calendar rather than a clock.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
I think the "eco" aspect is to use the best programme for the articles being washed. Then it only needs doing once. No idea why the new, more eco dishwasher needs almost an hour longer than the old one to do the job but we do it in daylight with PV panel electricity and it's less water than doing it by hand.
Minor grump today - planted some prepared hyacinths in a bowl for Xmas - deep red and perfumed. They are only just flowering now, are a very purpley red and no pong.

Now you're just being silly. Everybody knows you need the 'plus' model to get those features.
