They are rooting down to China, through bedrock, here too @Obelixx. Problem is I weeded and turned the soil then built the raised beds on top, before I knew It was lurking deep down. I still hoik it out throughout the growing season, but my theory is if I can dig out as much as possible during the winter it helps to keep it a bit more controllable later. Perhaps I should just do half the beds and then see if it makes any difference to what pops up...

Same problem here, the roots just go down for ever. There is just so much of it we just try and dig it out and keep it under control until the ground gets too hard and dry and then it goes mad again.

Badly. The crack is in a tricky place so the filling failed and had to be ripped out and refilled with a temporary material. I have to go back in a few months to have it looked at again but it'll probably end up having a crown on it.

Good luck with that @wild edges. I have a tooth that has broken off around a new filling and need to get that sorted but, preferably, with another dentist.
Today is patch/sewing group for which I make a cake to try new recipes on a room full of guinea pigs. I do them on Sundays so they can "mature" a bit and are cool for transport at midday Monday. Late email from one lady at 10:30pm.
"Don't make a cake. I've got 3 galettes des roi". It's never ending............... Clearly the french are not into thin/dry or veganuary which is fine but I need to transform inactive knee induced blubber back into muscle and all these treats are not helping.
