Iāve been sent to bed cos Iām snotty and apparently I keep sighing ... Iāve taken more Anadin and a warm drink ... hopefully Iāll sleep better than last night.Ā
Sweet dreams all š š“Ā

No chaos noted here either but we are very rural and haven't tried to go anywhere till dance class this evening.Ā That's 40 minutes away and just the other side of La Roche-s-Y.Ā Saw a few Gilets Jaunes out again with a bonfire in their usual spot but not stopping anyone.Ā The main problem here is the fuel shortages and that's a different lot of strikers and a different dispute - change of tax levels on fuels for machinery used on building sites.
No new steps again but then she asked everyone to do their first series of Paso.Ā Ā OH and I joined them when they were learning their 2nd series so we learned 6 new figures in 12 minutes.Ā Ā Brain and knee boggling.
I hope your son gets home OKĀ @Busy-Lizzie or that he took his toothbrush and a spare shirt, just in case.
Morning everyone. Weāre home from our latest trip to Canberra for yet another Dr visit. All ok he says. š see you in 3 months.
Had a night in a motel. Barely passable, shower was over a bath tub which I was too nervous to step into in case I slipped. I prefer an even surface for my shower.
At least home is somewhere Im happy to return to.
Good morning all Ā and hello to @Pat E Ā āļø Ā Glad the doc is happy with you. šĀ I had a better night but I still have a sore yucky throat, stuffed up head and tender ringing ears.Ā
I shall keep taking the paracetamol and hot honey and lemon. I wonder how @punkdoc is ...Ā

Morning. Thats positive Pat - breathe for a bit now. Hope all the poorlies have a better day today.Ā Rain and wind here so very uninspiring to get up and out.Ā
Morning all/afties Pat - you'll be glad that's all over forĀ a while.Ā Not so great for you and dad @chicky. Difficult time for you. Hot drinks and paracetamol for lurgies is as good as anything really. I like the Jakeman's aniseed cough sweets. I could just eat them anyway. Yum. Do you have exercises for keeping the knee going @Obelixx? A bit calmer here today thankfully, though still wet and windy. Tree down when I went to get daughter and some groceries yesterday, but easy enough to detour. I always feel sorry for the men who're out in that doing the clearing/removing.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Good morning.Ā Still cold and grey and dank here and the radar shows rain on the way.
Sorry it's not good news @Chicky.Ā Ā Worrying for you all.
No exercise @Fairygirl but I can have some physio sessions to help restore muscle tone once the gel injections are in and have settled.Ā Ā First one on the 17th and then the 30th and the 7th.Ā Ā Need to have a chat about the other knee which is getting chatty.
When a tree comes down here the farmers go and move it.Ā Same where we lived in Belgium.Ā
Hope everyone with lurgies is feeling better and that the weekend brings some better weather for us all.Ā
Morning all.Ā Back to pouring rain here for us.Ā Hospital for me this morning and nil by mouth for 5 hours, grrr Hubby has decided he's coming too " for the run out" Oh the irony, first "day out" and he's going back to hospital, lol
@Hostafan1- well, you have to laugh, don't you.Maybe hubby was missing the old placeĀ Hope it all goes well for you. Tree was in an awkward spot between houses, in a narrow side road too. It can be quite congested there as there's a private school nearby, with the usual selfish parking etc. Just as well it was a bit later on than school times. Heaven forbid they couldn't park right by the door to collect their precious cherubs....
