    LB my best wishes to Chey.  Hope he'll soon be well and back with Luco X.  I've just had a lovely warm shower this afternoon with wings of a and she's butter and vanilla, quite moisturising.   I'm sitting on the sofa with Alfie now and watching Endeavour after some pottering.   I've been trying raspberry and blackberry tea lately and it is a nice change to have that and chamomile but always have my monkey tea too.  Runny well pop round to taste your c mas cake  :).    Joyce LB and MU I hope your weather improves and as MU says when the lighter evenings return.  Its been quite drizzly here too but I prefer the cooler weather to the hot.  A trusty scarf keeps me warm.  MU what happened to the banana? :).

    You lot are bonkers! Have you all been out on the absinthe like the other artists?

    Chive's is my favourite piece but full marks to Boswell for trying. Did either of you have to explain to anybody what you were doing? Especially you MU.  I can picture the scene:

    "Why, exactly, are you putting that banana in Boswell's bowl and photographing it?..."

    I've been a very good girl and done another 3 hours in the garden. It is finally starting to look a bit tidier and winter-ready. Still plenty to go at and after a few hard frosts there'll be another load of stuff to cut back. But for now it's ok.

    Fingers crossed Chey isn't in hospital for too long although I suspect he's in the best place for now. If he is ill enough to warrant hospitalisation they might try extra hard to determine if it's a resolvable condition he's been struggling with. Hope so. All the best Chey!

    @1Runnybeak1 and @Hazel-1 . Re your outside tree / shrub lights -

    Are they mains, battery or solar? Which make are they?

    I'm quite fancying some plain white statics for outside, but there's no convenient outdoor electricity supply where I'd like them to go. I've not had a lot of luck with cheap solar lights in the past - so I'm very interested if yours are good solar ones.

    I don't fancy buying loads of batteries for battery operated ones but LED's on a timer might work.

    Hope you don't mind me asking.🙂

    Evening all - well its dark enough. I've been across the road to visit Jack (cat sitter). He is getting very frail now but at least his daughter is popping in more often these days and he has a lot of the aids which help him move about his bungalow in place now.
    Errrm PF you could eat the banana if you were a bit peckish.
    Solar lights are fairly rubbish T'Bird. If you get LEDs that are battery driven you will get a better display as LEDs use far less power

    Whilst out with my Bestie at the GC 3 weeks ago I bought a set of LED micro brights - 200 LEDs on a silver wire to go in my ivy at the front door. They are multifunction with memory so you can have them static or flashy. They have a timer function, 6 hours on 18 hours off and a battery life of 30 days They can be used indoor or out. Manufactured by Premier - other makes are available.
