Goodnight LB and MU.  Chive I've just had some small jobs to do today at home and thought I'd treat my hair to a deep conditioner.  Giving the carpet a once over.  Weather rather blustery and not the sort to be out in long.  Lily hope you can get rid of the cough and have something soothing.  Pansy hope the wrist is healing.    Last night I was watching a documentary about Michael Bublé and had my arms around Alfie and Bruno and we were snuggled in for the evening.  Goodnight everyone, sleep well.
  • Thank you everyone. I think I might try and get an appointment at the Drs tomorrow. I think I need antibiotics. I feel pretty rough, I've got through so much cough medicine and paracetamol plus blackcurrant flavoured sips.......don't like the lemon ones 😕  I hurt with so much coughing 😥🤒
I'll make a note of that cough medicine TB, thank you.
Ooh Michael Buble, Rebecca 😍 now that could make me feel better 😉😂 what channel was it on?

I've been reading all day and just finished the book.

Not watching Glenda as I read "Elizabeth Is Missing"  some time ago.

Hope those under the weather feel better soon.

    Horsefen Mill today.
Sorry that you are still feeling poorly SGL but antbiotics do not work on viral infections. Eventually the virus will work its way out of your system as it has done with T'Bird and myself. Its a fortnight of feeling dreadful but you will get there. Chey is still in hospital Chive but is very appreciative of everyones' kind wishes. His Bestie is taking care of Luco.

Morning LB. An early start for us today as OH is working.

I am loving the broadland pictures LB. I was dragged up just outside Gt Yarmouth and the first house I bought on my own was a tiny Victorian fisherman’s cottage about 4 miles from Horsey (1st pic) and 2 miles from Somerton (2nd pic).

My bestie grew up in Ludham (where Horsefen mill is).

My great grandfather was a keen watercolour artist so we have lots of broadland pictures in the family. Winter broadland light is very special.

SGL - I’m afraid LB is right. Antibiotics only work on bacterial infections. Steam inhalations, & hot drinks help soothe & lubricate the airways. I resorted to trying to sleep almost sitting up - lots of pillows and one of those travel neck supports.

Morning T'Bird. I've more broadland pictures to come. I found a provisional driving licence on the pavement outside my brother's yesterday so I'm just nipping to the post box to get it sent back to the young lady. A Liverpool address and my brother lives in Warrington. I found Olbas oil (other treatments available) very helpful.

Love Olbas Oil. A few drops sprinkled on a tissue and kept on your pillow does help you breathe more easily.

In a similar vein I also had loads of Vick smeared across my chest. That was quite soothing too.

It’s a nasty virus SGL but (unless you have other health issues which could lead to complications) it’ll work it’s way through. You’ll probably only have the really bad hack for a couple of weeks but I’ve had a residual ‘tickle’ for weeks. Just about gone now but it’s been many weeks😬

Morning Chive. Have the nativity plays started yet?🎄⛄️🎅🏻

Morning Chive you snuckered in Its a bit raw out there but a brisk walk to the box kept me warm. Time for another brew before thinking 'dekkies'.

    Morning all🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️
    Well I rang
    the surgery,
but no appointments until Friday NEXT week!  So I'll just have to put up with it and keep taking paracetamol and cough medicine etc. No I don't have any health issues, but feel this is now a chest infection and not just this awful cough. But nothing I can do if I can't get an appointment.
    Will have another
    lazy day, but
    have no energy to
    do anything
    anyway.

    Enjoy 23 Hazel,
    Have fun and
    Lots of cuddles 🤗🤗

    Hope everyone
else is feeling better. How is your hand now Pansy.
    Take care, TTFN
