Feet up SGL, lots of nice warm drinks and rest.
Been out in the garden with my trusty new hedge trimmers and I have sheared the gigantic Leylandii in my neighbour's garden - well as far as the trimmer and I could reach. It has really opened up my side now. I need a Peter Crouch in to do the other branches. My neighbour has given me her permission by the way. Green bin full to capacity ready for emptying this week, I seem to have received a lot of bramble gifts from my blackbirds but they can wait for another day. I'm pooped now

Hazel...no I haven't, if I've got the energy tomorrow perhaps I'll pop to the village and get some. I'll probably need yet another bottle of cough medicine by then too. Hope you're enjoying time with 23 🤗🤗 Have fun 😍

LB, that's all I can do at the moment 😉😕 no energy at all. Probably wouldn't have been able to walk up the hill to the Drs today anyway. 😥😂
Sounds like you need to rest now after all that tree chopping. Take care don't want any set backs after you being poorly last week.

    Afternoon all.
Dry and sunny so have been gathering up pots that were blown all over the place.  I'd had them stacked for putting away but never got round to doing it.

SGL, when I had the lurgy I slept upright in a chair for two nights and didn't cough as much.

    Chive, enjoy your busy week.
LB, well done on your hedge trimming.
Ruby, I still have leaves to clear.....

Another beautiful picture LB, very atmospheric.  You sound like you've had quite a battle with the leylandii.  You deserve a cup of tea and a sit down.  Chive it will be fun for the children to present to the parents.  Have a good day at school.  Lily let's hope you are on the other side of your virus soon.  The sun is out here today and there's a breeze.  Topbird your first home sounds cosy.

Afties - twiddling my thumbs waiting for a SM delivery. Can't settle to anything when I'm waiting for someone!
Popped to town this morning and bought lining material, pencil pleat tape and thread to make up the curtains. Might make a start on those tomorrow or Wednesday.
Have made a cottage pie as well. I bet if I start washing up the debris the delivery driver will arrive just as I'm up to my elbows in suds. They do deliveries using crates - no plastic bags - so you have to unpack it all while they wait. Decisions, decisions....

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

I'm exactly the same whilst waiting for any sort of delivery T'Bird. I sit and spend all the time rubber necking out of the front window. It seems to have gone really cold here now but that might just be me.
Update on Chey, he is going to be in hospital until the end of the week.

Waiting for A....n delivery.  T'bird, the ...sco delivery men are very good at helping to empty the crates.  I just wish they would put the shopping away as well.

LB, I'm glad to hear that Chey seems to be having some proper attention/treatment at last.
