Afties all. I have just put some lunch on - pasta and pesto - having finished the ivy clipping on the front wall and getting the green bin filled for tomorrow's collection. It has brightened up here but I'm not sure how long it will last. I thought of you Joyce, when I used my 'big green hands' to pick up all the bits. Ante, I guess that you are not injured but what a scare that fall must have given you.
T'Bird, I saw the BBC reporter in Sydney - near the bridge - and he said that the air was thick with smoke so I should imagine it is very unpleasant for anyone with breathing difficulties.

Don't worry Runny, your poem has now a nice frame.🥰 Nice to see you and please don't be sorry. First few moments I didn't realise what is happening but after that I said to myself like Delboy:"What a plonker".
I bought only two japanese plum saplings.

LB pasta and pesto is one of my favorite dishes. So easy and quick to prepare and so tasty and fragrant.

T'bird it's also my first time and feeling is unpleasant.

Now here is two photo of port in my town for all those who don't believe in climate changes. Tide never was so high like this morning. My friend took photos.

Attractive layout Runners.  Hope your gas tank repair man does turn up this time.  Don't want you being cold.
Ante, the tide is certainly high.  We get the same here in the winter with the waves coming over the wall at the beach.
Hazel, no kneeling down to do any more painting.
Hope Pansy's aerial of dead has been sorted without any mishap.

I have done some cutting back but my hands are frozen now.

Hooray - Runners is back! - and in style too!😁😁😁

What a pain about the gas tank man. They really should have let you know. I don't get it really. The people who work there must sometimes have to take a day off to deal with repairmen, furniture deliveries etc. So they know how frustrating it is to hang around all day for someone who doesn't come. So why wouldn't they do the decent thing and let customers know? P**s poor service IMO.

Hazel - hope your knee responds to the treatment

Ante - the harbour looks as though it's very pretty under normal conditions. I hope there's not too much damage to the quay, boats or properties.

LB - hurrah for the parcel delivery. You can go for a wee now😉

PS - Leaves chopped and mowed up and grass cut. It was all very wet and rather muddy. There was tons of leaves and it took forever. Kna*kered now. Think I'll take the lawn mower for service tomorrow then I won't be tempted to do it again...

Oh good grief Ante. A few more cm and it will all be under water. The shed (?) would be flooded too. The sky looks just like mine did first thing this morning.

That is such a sad story M-U. I always stabs me to the heart hearing news like that as it brings back memories of Pickle - Lily's brother - who was killed on the road. I am so glad that it wasn't one of yours.

My chicken coop for the farm arrived today. It needs decorating yet with some straw in it too.

It was one of the things M-U. I got quite a few other little things too. I'm having great trouble finding 1/12th cows though
