....and everything’s in lb’s and oz’s and cooked in a 7” cake tin at gas mark 5 or 220F 😁

Looked out the window just now and car windows are frozen over already.

I lost an old handwritten cook book along with a folder of ration books.

    Tempting veg and cakes Ante.

Heard on tv that there's been another school shooting in the US.  Think they said it was the 86th this year.  What a world......

Spot on (Ante - absolutely right) T'Bird. Joyce, I'm going to have to look outside here now. My feet have never warmed up since I got in this afternoon.
As for the shooting - words fail me.

Ante your cakes look delicious.  I'm glad to hear your back is better.  TB it's good you picked something up on your trip.  Its good to have something of your relatives and a sense of them to keep.  Chive hope you're having a relaxing evening.  Runny the crochet birds are lovely.   Joyce I hope you enjoyed your planting, very sensible getting low lying plants.  LB you'll be quite full after your fish and chips and its good to stretch your legs.  Lily hope your okay.  MU I hope you are resting your eyes after all your close work.  Goodnight everyone, sleep well.

Good morning everyone. For those in the frosty areas I hope that you defrost soon.
I see that the Beeb are broadcasting from Aberdeen this morning, where my paternal grandfather was born.
Sorry Joyce, I meant to say yesterday that I'm not sure about a tiny manger but there may be some tiny troughs in the field

Good morning LB and all to follow.  Hope you slept well.    It's absolutely chucking it down here.  Thinking of those people in the flooded areas.  I have a gas inspection between 8.30 and 1pm and so it could be any time.  A new boiler and the worst boiler I've ever had, digital and problematic.  I miss my old one with dials but it gave up the ghost after many years service.  Bless.  Chive keep dry on the way to school.

Morning Ruby and Rebecca. I am going shopping this morning (I know, I must be mad!) as waiting in for the package meant I had to delay it until today. I shall be armed with my trusty umbrella. Bestie and I were so lucky yesterday when we went for our walk.
