Great shop that Hazel. Is the duvet set for a guest room or is your OH stoical about 'girly' bed linen?
Chive, hearing the parrots was definitely weird. I was getting ready to duck into any shop doorway to dodge the pterodactyls!

Yes Topbird it never worked properly when it was installed this time last year, engineer after engineer at the time and one went away with my instruction manual which isn't very helpful.  I've kept my mobile with me all day and haven't heard.  I'll have to get up early each morning just in case.  The engineer said these were common faults on the V boiler.  I don't know why after giving 19 years' service they didn't plumb for the same make?  Is that too sensible.  Anyway it's a heap of something.  I'll be dreaming of dials, sweet dials and instructions those were the days when you could give it a bang and it would start chugging away.  I'll just mop the frost from my brow and go to my mother's for a cup of tea and some warm slippers.

Afternoon all. Busy morning and weekly visitor has just left.  Visiting ginger cat was sitting on the patio blending in withe fallen leaves.

Rebecca, I hope your boiler gets sorted pronto.  I remember how cold I was last year when mine had problems. luckily you can nip round to Rubee's.
Debs, your break seems to have destressed you which is good. Hope your OH's plans turn out well.
Trust all those doing seasonal shopping have had some success.
Chey, stay warm and enjoy your new game.

How very, very annoying Rebecca. I'd be jumping up and down. I don't know enough about gas boilers or your personal situation to advise you who to contact - but I do know that both mains gas and carbon monoxide are not good things to be mucking about with.

Wholly unacceptable to be having all these problems on such a young system. Do you have a landlord or home insurer who could help you get it sorted? It's very fortunate you have the lovely Rubee round the corner.

Our service went ok except for a leaky filler valve which they've replaced. Used a different company this year. Nicer people to deal with so (assuming no problems crop up) I'll be using them again.

Hazel - I could never ever in a month of Sundays get away with buying a flowery duvet cover😁 OH would probably refuse to get into bed. There are some things he makes such a fuss about! All our soft furnishings are either plain colours or geometric patterns.

    Good evening everyone.
It's Friday finally and I'm at home and ready for warm cup of tea. I changed tyres on my car and now is everything prepared for winter condition.
My book arrived today, only ten days after I placed order. I'm quite satisfied.

Rebecca sorry for your boiler but it's better to find it now when isn't to cold yet. You are so lucky to have neighbour like Rubee. You two can have pyjama party in warm room.😁

Runny, I think that I'll have three or four radish harvest more. Weather conditions are perfect for them, damp and not too cold (around 10℃).

Evening Ante. Changing tyres on your car must be a huge task. I'd have to take mine to the nearest garage. Mind you, we don't often need winter tyres in the UK - maybe up near where M-U and Joyce are if the weather is really bad.

    Hi LB.
I also was at garage so it was a easy task, only to watch but I lost a lot of time because it was crowded. I also don't need them in my town so often but when I go to cottage they are necessary.

Very wise to get them done now before the real winter sneaks in Ante.
