    Afties all. I have spent the best part of today cleaning the fish tank out and that is me done for the day. Surplus tank plants have gone into the compost bin. I am amazed at how my hardy cyclamen have spread under the Katsura tree. I had to watch where I was walking. There are still some sweet peas flowering too so I'll leave them in a little while longer. Tonight is set to be even colder than last night was and its not looking good for those oop north. At least it isn't raining! Lights have had to go on in the house.

    T'Bird, I meant to say that I am with you in preferring a GC that is more plant nursery than scented candles/furniture/clothing/books/cards etc etc. They do need a coffee shop though - preferably with cakes!

    Charity shop has picked up my stuff . Three black bin liners full to bursting and the books . Now I can move in my porch .Time for a cuppa .

    LB, there's too much for the compost bin at this time of year. I mixed some up with shredded leaves.

    Fell asleep on sofa at start of OC and woke up two hours later.  I neede it as didn't get to sleep til after two last night.
    Very thick frost tonight.

    Is every one switched off this evening???
