Its the stone circle at Castlerigg in Cumbria Rebecca. I've been there and its a beautiful place with a very spiritual atmosphere.

How lovely LB.  I love the Lakes but have not been to Castlerigg but I'm glad it's a memorable place for you.  The V gas engineer has sent a text saying he'll be arriving between 1.30-3.30pm this afternoon.  I have to be honest I don't have high hopes.  Anyway fingers crossed.  It would be nice to have hot tap water.

Morning everyone . It’s been a remarkably quiet night .Alfie downstairs my three on the landing .
I am hoping something positive comes out of the V visit this afternoon .Fab  pic LB, love that area.
The sound bar came yesterday . Looking forward to it being set up .Have a good day folks .
  • Morning all,
Having trouble getting on here yesterday and this morning. But got on here at last.
Quite musty out there this morning. Off out shortly to look for more Xmas pressies and hopefully the family cards. Having trouble finding any nice ones this year. The pictures on the front are very strange.....hamsters, unicorns, Peppa pig😕 What happened to Santa or a snowman?
Glad you found your buttons LB!🤗🤗
    Take care everyone

Just back from my trip to drop off stuff at the auction. The wind is absolutely wild out there and I'm toying with the idea of cranking up Lily's TV. I'll have a cuppa whilst I ponder.
Rebecca that is good news about the engineer. Don't take any c**p off him/her. You need a new boiler.
Rubee - the sound bar will be wonderful. It will be like being in the cinema.

Great to see you M-U - you snuckered in there. How is Millicent's house doing? Any more additions?

Love it M-U. Pleased to see that scunnered and shoogle were mentioned but glaikit is a new one on me. I'll have to go and Google! Where is Joyce when you need her? Perhaps all her nattering yesterday has tired her out.

Dreich after overnight rain.  More paper clearing and shredding for me today.

Glaikit.....a much used word up here used when saying someone is a bit "thick".

Rebecca, fingers crossed for you today.
Good luck for those shopping for pressies.
