LB enjoy your trip to the GC with Bestie and her daughter, all the trimmings will be out already.  Hope you find a plant or two.  Joyce hope all goes well at the dentist and you can put it down in six months' time.  MU loved the wee glasses very charming.  LB look forward to seeing your farm develop.  Chive wrap up warm for today.  I've just had a cup of tea and preparing to go out for Rubee's Otex and a few other things.  I caught up on my sleep from earlier in the week.

Hazel, hope you are giving your knee a rest today.
Rebecca,  are you and Alfie keeping warm at your mum's?

Back from dentist.  To have two small fillings just before C....s.

Afties all. Had a marvellous day out and we had little Sofia to keep us company too. She loved all the C*******s displays. I bought some teeny LED lights (200) on a silver wire string to put in the ivy outside the front door; a small LED lantern that will be very useful in my larder under the stairs and a wonderful C*******s tree shop that will go with my village. All in all a perfect day. Sofia's face was a picture as she saw all the lights and dekkies.
Joyce, bad news about the fillings but if they are just little ones its best to get them sorted now. I think you are secretly pleased to have more dates with Brown Eyes!

    Evening🙂

It's been very cold and grey here so, after a bit of a natter this morning, I've been doing some indoor chores. One of which included a writing note to enclose with the bulk of the Xmas cards telling people I'm not doing them anymore and the money saved on postage will go to the local cat rescue place. Hope people won't be too offended but the cost of postage has become ridiculous.

Several friends have already bailed out so I'm following suit. Will just send to those I particularly care about or who need that contact.

LB - what a lovely day you've had. It is rather special to see a non-materialistic Christmas through a little one's eyes isn't it? I'm thinking about getting a new door wreath - one with some battery lights. Will have to keep it quiet from OH - he doesn't approve of decorations so I just have to present him with a fait accompli...🤭

Joyce - I think you scoff toffees to keep up the visits to see Brown Eyes😉😁

    Hazel - knees - injections in - 😬

Rebecca - hope you get some good news tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you. x

I don't look forward to going to the dentist but certainly don't mind seeing brown eyes plus he's an excellent dentist.

T'bird, I really cut back on C...s cards two years ago because of the postage.  Rellies and two old school friends get them posted, others are exchanged.

LB, seems as though you have had a good day especially with little Sofia excited by it all.

Yes I am Joyce but early up tomorrow.  Hazel hope the injection wasn't too painful.  LB sounds like you had a lovely time.  Chive at least it's Friday tomorrow.  MU hope it's not too cool where you are.

T'Bird and Chive. Bestie and I were talking about this very thing last week and today, and Bestie is going to send cards to some more distant people telling them it is the last time she is sending out cards and leaving them her email if they would like to keep in touch. I am going to do similar but I am sending e-cards with that message.

Evening M-U. I'll still be sending cards to the people I hear from frequently, its the ones who I only hear from once a year - at the festive season - that will be getting ecards - assuming I have their email addresses, if not I'll resort to the Bestie plan. Yes, Rebecca, hoping the gas engineer will sort out your boiler - one way or the other - tomorrow.
