Morning LB and all to follow.  LB have a good day.  Ante hope the tummy upset has subsided.  Lily it will be lovely for you to see the children over c mas and their wonder.  Topbird hope your muscles are feeling better today after your relaxing bath.  Pansy I hope you can get an appt for specs asap.  I'm just having breakfast and watching BBC news.

Its a chilly one this morning.  I've been watching the sparrows.  The cake I put out has been nibbled away and a small cat had been enjoying the filling.  A starling has been feeding.

Morning Rebecca and Chive. My youngest sister, who has a beautiful, daft German Shepherd calle Brodie, always buys a squeaky dog toy for him for Christmas. It only takes about 30 seconds for him to 'kill' the toy and silence the squeak. He likes to rip open his own present as well.

    Morning all.
A hoar frost this morning so have a sparkly garden.  The black birds have joined the redwings in the holly tree and I reckon most of the berries will be gone today.

Rebecca, I hope that something gets done about your boiler today.

    I can't resist making a toy squeak.

Morning Joyce. How lovely that you get redwings. I have never seen one in real life. My noisy 'thing' is that when I go to GC anywhere I have to 'test' all the wind chimes. Love the sounds that some of them make.

Morning everyone . It’s a beautiful sunny morning here. If it’s not too cold I will be doing a bit of tidying in the garden this afternoon. One more large shelf to go through before  the charity shop pick up this afternoon .

Afties all. It's been quiet on here today - you must all be busy doing 'stuff'🙂

Office for me this morning, then SM and now I have a sweet and sour pork to make so, if necessary, OH and I can have separate dinners. He's at work and might not be home until a bit later and I'm out to Garden Club tonight.

A talk about evergreens and conifers. The speaker is somebody from The Place for Plants at East Bergholt - an excellent nursery on the Suffolk / Essex border. They have some lovely things there and a beautiful garden to wander around. Still more nursery than GC so it scores highly for me. Nice that there are loos, you can get a cuppa and you can buy a few tools - but there isn't much in the way of cards, scented candles and 'seasonal' decorations 👍

Best keep moving or I'll never get up again!

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Not as good as Rubee's clearance but I have two large bin bags full of shredded paper.

Enjoy the gardening club tonight T'bird.
Hazel, when you get the selection boxes don't be tempted....
