Good morning . It’s a beautiful cold morning here. What a waste of money that advert is LB . There are people starving ,here in our country . And I am speechless about Harrods.

Morning Chive, Debs, Ruby and Hazel. I'm all scrubbed and polished for the day. Off to see my Bestie so lots of gossip. We haven't planned anything yet so we will just see what, if anything, develops.
Debs, Ludlow is a fabulous place. You should try and get to the chocolate shop if you can.

    Morning all.
Frost is still lying on the grass.

Debs, I loved all the different food shops in Ludlow.
LB, will there be a tiny manger on the farm?

Ante what an atmospheric picture with the choppy waves.  Joyce no frost here as yet but it's cooler.  Hazel sorry to hear about your steroid injections.  I hope your knee will feel better over time.  LB enjoy your day with bestie.  I agree with the comments about Harrods.

l am once again doing a bit of clearing . My first and only task today is books . I gave over a hundred books to charity last year . I don’t know how I have accumulated so many more 58  this time . Tomorrow is jumpers and cardigans . I seem to have shelves full of them .where do all these things come from ?I need to have more space .

Ruby, I do a book swap with friends and get others on my Kindle but still have books in every room except bathroom/toilet.

Tulip bulbs all planted now.  Anemone Blanda to be soaked and planted by the the weekend.

Runners, outside taps have been lagged :)

Chive , about five years ago we tackled our loft ,no one had been up there for several years .
There were lots of toys  ,children’s desk a child’s toy pram amongst a lot of other stuff .considering that at the time we were in our seventies ,it was so interesting looking at the toys that our children used to play with .

You have been busy Joyce .I love books . But I only keep reference books and the classics. We live in a small house and it soon gets cluttered. We have five  book cases ,2 in the sitting room ,1 in the dining room ,1 on the landing and 1 in our bedroom .I would really like more space but the books I  keep are precious to us .I have my fathers Pilgrims Progress ,which is very  old and falling apart. His communion prayer book and lots of poetry books .I can’t part with any of them .

    Good evening everyone.
I returned from my cottage. Plums are in the soil and some carrots are out. It wasn't raining but is grey, foggy and rather cold.
I'll have pizza for dinner, then warm shower and reading before bed time.

LB, I think that many people will avoid Harrods this year.

Debs you are most than welcome here. My house is always open for friends. It applies to everyone here. No worry, upper storey with balcony is always empty.😁

Ruby, I also love work with books. You are relieved now, all tulips are planted.
