Morning all. Looks like a dry day so I might get some leaves chopped up after SM delivery late morning.
Meant to say last night that I was so sorry to read about Pansy’s brother. Drastic steps. No doubt the most sensible thing to do but I would have been heartbroken too.
Debs - sounds like you’re having my sort of holiday....😎 We love that part of the world - very pretty. If you haven’t already been - The Stagg in Titley (not too far away) is well worth a visit. It’s a pub with an excellent reputation for food - your husband may well know of it.
A couple of years since our last visit (think we’ve been 3 times) but Trip Advisor suggests it’s still good and it’s owned by the same people. Not posh or over formal. OH still thinks the best steak he’s ever had was eaten there.
Looks like there’s more rain on the way for most of us. Keep safe everyone.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Good morning everyone . LB , I hope that you can get your ivy trimmed back .Debs that hot tub sounds so inviting. Enjoy your break .Chive , whatever you do today , enjoy .Hazel, I hope the visit to the docs is helpful.
Hello again everyone. Glad you got sorted at the Doc's Hazel. PF - I loved the episode where Basil thrashes his car! How many times have I wanted to do that in the past.
My package has emerged from the Herpes black hole and finally arrived! The last message was:
10:03 - Wed 13 Nov

Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Hello everyone. Debs enjoy and relax, you deserve it.
PF I would also drop a tear in situation like your brother's. It's so sad, but someone wrote before, life is too valuable and your brother can start again.
LB hurray. The parcel saga is finally over.
It's raining non-stop here. Yesterday was very difficult and some coastal towns were flooded by sea. Tide and waves are high today also. Something awkward happened to me last night. For the first time in my life I fell from the bed. It was a proper fall. I'll make lunch now, nothing fancy, just lots of chips and salad, don't feel very hungry today.
Falling out of bed is a shock to the system isn't it Ante? - I did it once. Couldn't get back to sleep for giggling at myself. Was on a residential course and had a single bed which was pushed against a wall and I had to get in and out on the 'wrong' 🤨 side. Turned over in my sleep to what would have been the middle of our bed - bang! 😁
Your poor brother and SIL Pansy. I've just found out that the Sydney suburbs where OH's cousins live is officially under threat. I think the threat really refers to those properties surrounded by bush land (and they live well into the built up area) but I should probably contact somebody over there to see if they're all ok. Sounds like it's all a little too close for comfort...😟

Debs, sounds as though you are unwinding at the lodge. Enjoy it.
Sunny but everything outdoors is sodden so it's soup making for me today.
Debs enjoy and relax, you deserve it.

Thanks Joyce and Hazel, but don't worry. I didn't injure myself.
