Pansy I hope that Elsa will soon recover from her eye infection . She must be very uncomfortable . Today has been so wet and cold , I decided I would get my Christmas cards written . All ready for the post now . One little job done. Lily I do hope you and your OH feel better soon .TBird , have you got rid of your cold yet ? Chive those clothes sound very snuggly .LB ,fingers crossed that your parcel and buttons turn up soon .
Chive - yes the pigeons are eating the crab apples. I don’t mind but they usually leave them until Jan / Feb so I get to enjoy them for most of the winter - they look fab against a clear blue sky.
Usually the pigeons, blackbirds and squirrels all discover them at the same time and strip the trees in a matter of days. This year the pigeons are there first and no one else is getting a look in. And they are huge birds. The trees are only a couple of years old so the branches snap under the weight of a couple of fat ones.
Rubee - thanks for asking. Yes my cold (and the awful cough) seem to have moved on to new victims.
LB - have you looked in the key drawer? Most everything turns up there in this house!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I've looked there, and in the freezer, bathroom and bedrooms. The bedrooms was just a cursory glance though and I suspect I will find them in there when I look properly.
