I agree with you about wind and rain together Ante. That is a horrible combination. Maybe the weather on Thursday will be kinder for you.
p.s. thank you for the kind words about my family.

I'm signing out for tonight people. There is a full moon tonight - known as a beaver moon - if its clear for you to see it it should be beautiful. Venus will also be very bright.

    Hello
Did type out a post earlier today but got interrupted and forgot to press post. Nothing important - just the usual rambling rubbish.

Horrible cold wet and miserable day. Done a bit, done a little....

Guess everyone’s bedwards soon. Sleep well. Hope Mr & Mrs SGL have another good night🙂

I may be joining Joyce clearing (yet more) leaves tomorrow - a bit of a thankless task but I’ll be glad I did it when adding to the compost bins next year.

LB and Pansy hope the problems in Australia will be sorted.  I have family there too.  Chive I remember those days too.  LB sleep well and let's hope your parcel delivery will be tomorrow.

Pansy, your brother has made a sensible decision but it must be a heartbreak to lose all those trees.

T'bird, the wind blew all the leaves from the campsite up this way.  The pavements are thick with them too.

Good morning LB and all to follow. Having a wonderful relaxing few days, lodge is very luxurious and cosy and set in lovely surroundings. Eating and drinking far too much and just watching DVDs or sitting in hot tub chatting it’s perfect! Wet and windy here but it’s a good excuse not to go out! No phone signal which is strange but a good thing I think.
Sounds like you have all been busy, that little jacket is very sweet. Ante will have home grown plums to look forward to unless those pesky pigeons eat them.

A very good morning one and all. PF and Ruby I am so sorry but your messages snuckered in after I left. I feel gutted for your brother and his wife PF. I think I would have been distraught too.
I hope that everyone had a decent night's sleep last night. Weather permitting later on I want to trim the ivy on the wall but I am not holding my breath! This is one morning I would have preferred a frosty start.

Morning Debs. Your break sounds just the thing you need to recharge your batteries. Who needs to go out in the rain when you can just chill out in the lodge? It must be bliss not to have a phone signal. Its often like that in the Lakes when we are away. I manage OK but my nieces are connected to Facebook by umbilical cords and are forever messaging so there are major stresses when they cannot get a signal.
