Brrrr!  I'm glad to be back home to the warmth.
    Afternoon all.

SGL, hope you manage a snooze this afternoon and that your OH feels better soon.
    Debs, enjoy your break.
LB, cute baby jacket.  Has your parcel arrived?

Hello Joyce. Sadly no package as yet. I've written again to the sellers and I am not laying any blame at their door - apart from the fact they could have chosen another courier! They have been chasing them up for me though. Thoughts of the infamous ladder experience sprang into my head . It is absolutely freezing here too.

Afties all. Brass monkeys out there again.

Been in the office this morning and I was thinking about going in the garden this afternoon but it's too cold, wet and miserable to be enjoyable. Just been outside and done the mad woman thing - flapping my wings to scare off the 8 fat pigeons trying to break the branches on a baby crab apple. I'll be lucky to have any apples left for seasonal decorations at this rate...

Love that Flanders Fields poem LB. The commemorations of the last few days have been as moving and thought provoking as ever.

Love the little jacket (are they still called matinee jackets?).

Well done to all the quizzers last night - Uni C and Only Connect tonight (I hope - unless there's football or afferleticks on instead).

T'Bird, I haven't heard that expression for a tiny person's cardi for donkeys ages. I used to use the term matinee jackets many moons ago. Still haven't found the buttons. I tidied them away recently and I cannot remember where I put them!

Thank you Chive. I still haven't come across the buttons though.

    Good evening everybody.
What to say, it's monday and it's finally near his end. Weather is same as yours up there, rain didn't stop whole day. It's also chilly outside.

LB that is so cute knitting there. Sorry to hear about parcel expectation. Maybe your parcel makes company to PF's sweater.

I think you are right Ante. They all disappear into a parallel universe, never to be seen again

PF I love Welsh cakes too. How is Elsa's conjunctivitis?

Lily hope you both get some rest and have better days.  Alfie's been tucking into his Whiskers treat of tuna chunks in jelly.  He absolutely loves the jelly.  Debs hope you and hubby enjoy your break.   Chive wrap up warm at school.  Joyce I hope your boiler is behaving.  LB lovely neat matinee jacket.
