Oh my! - that’s a pretty picture you’ve chosen for us this morning LB - gorgeous colours.

Good morning to you, Chive & Rubee and all to come. Hope your mum continues to improve Chive. Enjoy cake baking LB. Tempted to join you in that task but I don’t really need the temptation in the cake tin.

Instead, I shall be joining Rubee in performing some indoor tasks and then some paperwork. It’s wet through out there and thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon, so the grass won’t get cut today.

Morning Chive, Ruby and T'Bird. Cake in the oven, kitchen carnage washed up and dried and put away. Me feeling smug drinking the fresh orange and lemon juice from the fruits I grated for the cake, - a bit lip puckering but I keep telling myself its full of Vit C and therefore good for me!

Afternoon all.  Don't know where the morning has gone as I've not done much.
Autumn flowers are all drooping and soggy after the rain so garden looks a mess.

All this talk of C....s cakes is very tempting but I'm not making one as I would eat it by myself.

    Afternoon!

Hazel - he lost his wiper? As in the black thing on the windscreen?? How?

I'm not making my C*******s cake til mid November ish.

I need to have grumpy words at Aldi - oranges I bought on wednesday are already yellow and a bit mouldy! Not impressed.

    Good evening to all.
Friday finally. It was very unpredictable week for me. Weather is still sunny and war, very unusual for october. They said that it'll be like this till next friday.
You are all preparing for C*****s. I only browsing on ebay and looking for new ornaments.
I made carrot and walnut cake today, and I like it. I'm alone at home tomorrow so I'll make pumpkin soup. Only I like this soup in the house.

    Hi Chive.
No, no Italians today. It would be breaking point for me today. I'll not planting saplings this weekend. It's still too warm and I must wait much lower temperatures. It's a weird autumn this year, leeves is mostly still green and don't fall of.

Mmmm - I love carrot and walnut cake - and pumpkin soup - especially with cheese and walnut bread.

T'bird, this combination sounds perfect but I'll not bake walnut bread just for me. It's impossible to buy walnut bread in my little town.

I just looked at previous posts and read about your last trip. How was it?
I'll go to visit my sister in December. She is in south Germany.
