MU - the little house is coming on a treat. Wonder if you can find a mini National Strike newspaper for the kitchen table?

Rebecca - thanks for clarifying. Those are what I call grippers too - just didn’t understand the relevance of the handbag until you explained🙂 My grippers came in very useful in Norway earlier this year!

Pansy - M R James comes from this part of the world. There are occasional talks and readings at the local records office. May have to give one a try!

Morning PF. Oh what joy for you. I know that feeling all too well but not with the present incumbent. She is a complete and utter failure which is good for the local wildlife and good for me. I still get hairballs but no creature bits.

Morning Chive, Runners and Ruby. Chive I come in like that when I've been in the greenhouse or shed - not on any whiskers though! Runners, I'm rugby-ed out for sure and already looking forward to next weekend.
Very sorry to hear that your OH has had a bad night Ruby and that it has impacted on you too. The pair of you need to put your feet up and take things easy today. Its actually quite glorious here so I'm going to fill the bird feeders and wash out their bath today.

Meant to sat that I might be knitting later on Ruby; I got 25 leaves knitted yesterday so only another 45 to do!

    Morning all.
Thick frost this morning.  Car windows would have  needed to be scraped if I was going out but I went back to bed to read.

Rubee, hope your OH is feeling better and that you both catch up on your sleep.

LB, are you making a knitted C****s wreath?

Pansy the discovery of mouse parts must have been horrible.  It does sound like lc is asserting himself.    LB you are getting all organised.  Please send cake down the tunnel :).  Chive Nel sounds quite a little hunter.  I must say Alfie despatches any spiders.
