Good morning. It's lovely outside and it'll be one more sunny day. We will start to pay bills for this warm weather next week. Forecast for the first day of November is temperature decrease for 15℃ and high wind. It'll be snow in the hills also. I'll use every nice day for work outside. Today I'm going to dig holes for hazel saplings.
LB, forgot to mention, your autumn photos, which you post every day, are just lovely. Especially pumpkins. I adore them.
Jutro Ante. Before I read your post I had selected this picture for this morning:
Morning to all later Rezzerrisers.
Its going colder here too so getting those holes dug for your saplings is a good idea Ante.
Today I am going to the corn mill to get some food for my birds. I might just have to pop into a GC to take a look at stuff on the way back home - as you do!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning Joyce and Chive. I would say that there is a 90% chance of 'stuff' getting into my car with me on the way home . My bird food has lasted quite well as I bought some in December and I still have a little bit left. I do buy 40Kg per visit to the Mill so I think I have now got plenty in for this coming winter.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning Ante , LB , Joyce , chive and all to come . I am up early ,I have a large tin of paint being delivered . I am going to paint the kitchen woodwork ,a little at a time over winter .Then that’s the kitchen finished . Ante enjoy your work ,LB garden centres are so tempting , Joyce I hope grassman gets done before any rain ,Chive ,kettle on and watching the news . Very sad news about the people in the container . Breaks your heart thinking about what they went through.
Morning Ruby. I agree about the dreadful news everyone. I cannot begin to imagine the desperation of those poor people and the heartless greed of the people traffickers. So very sad.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning Chive and Rubee. Very sensible Rubee to be doing the painting a bit at a time.
It's the big pot shuffle on the patio so that I can get access to the peanut and fat block feeders over the winter. Leaf clearing is being done too. Rain forecast for later so trying to get as much as possible done as it will be two weeks before "my man" will be back.
Currently waiting for a man who is coming to repair the shower enclosure. He's coming from Milton Keynes - rather a long way from us along the A14. So far I've had 2 phone calls to say he was stuck between Cambridge and Newmarket and then he's phoned again to say the police are taking them off the A14 at Bury. 2 lorries in a collision not far from us. There is a shortcut for those who know the little roads but I think his diversion will be a long one.... He's probably been on the road for over 3 hours - best make him a coffee when he gets here!
Not sure if the toilet is fixed or not. Fortunately it wasn't 'unpleasant' to deal with. Just trying to get it draining properly.
Sounds as though some of you will be busy with shopping, painting, gardening and tree planting. Have a great day whatever you're up to!
Man's just arrived - SYL!
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
MU your rooms are coming on a treat. It looks very cosy and the picture of Tinker and Crunchie look cosy. LB have a good trip to the corn mill and see what plants are at the gc. Chive enjoy your cup of tea and enjoy the time you have to relax. Joyce maybe you can have a lie in tomorrow or rest after the grass man has been. Ante it sounds like the weather could soon change. We have been forecast snow around the end of the week. Enjoy your time outdoors in the fresh air. It's tragic about those thirty nine people. They are desperate and I'll informed and have paid a high price. The people traffickers need to be stopped. Free movement was a mistake and not all islands are able to accommodate due to size and lack of opportunity. Topbird I hope you enjoyed your birthday and are ready to make tea for the poor driver, quite a long journey.

It's dark but grassman will be coming otherwise I'd still be tucked up in bad.
It's mild this morning but, like you Ante, the weather is going to be windy and colder.
LB, will you return from GC with "stuff"?
