Hello SGL. Glad you are armed with the cold and flu remedies. All you need to do now is dose yourself and take things easy. Well I've altered some of my clocks that don't do it automatically so I reckon I'll be sorted for tomorrow - until I find the one I forgot!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Oh dear PF. You have had a day and a half haven't you? I don't think I have dyscalculia but the minute anything related to numbers is mentioned in my presence I can feel the shades dropping over my eyes and a selective deafness affecting my ear canals. My friend from Crewe is one of the ladies who missed out somewhere in the pension stuff because the Government moved the goalposts. When she gets off on one of her rants I find myself nodding sagely and making appropriate (least I hope so!) soothing noises. I have absolutely NO IDEA what she is talking about - she keeps throwing quotes about monies at me and numbers of years - waste of time. On these occasions I feel totally dense. Not that I actually care really I just want her to shut up, leave me out of it and deal with it.

I have never heard of that condition Pansy . I know how hard having dyslexia can be and I would imagine dyscalculia will be will be just hard .Poor sense of direction is a problem I have .Go into a shop through one door and come out of another ,I am completely lost . We have had our three cats for several years Pansy and their hour of choice for a spat is around six o’clock in the morning . They yowl and chase all over the house ,run over us in bed and sometimes cling on to arms ,which makes us yowl too . After about ten minutes of frantic activity they settle down ,Rufus on his own and Casper and Bruno in a heap together .Like you , we are then wide awake .
Good evening to all. I made a sup of tea and it's Poirot on tv. All my plans for today fell. Another Italian group came in a short notice and I spent few hours with them. They gave me a slightly headache.
Rubee, I like your avatar. Nice teddy bear.
Debs, glad to see you. I hope so that everything will be well with your mother.
LB, I see that you had another interesting rugby day.
Pansy, I had one pupil with dyscalculia three years ago. Her math teacher didn't understand what this is and it was torture for my and my pupil.
Good grief Ante. It seems as if your best laid plans were thwarted yet again by Italians. Sorry you have such a bad head. SGL might be able to help you with some paracetamol!
My rugby day was FANTASTIC. Such a great win for England. Runners and I were very satisfied with that result.

I've had a cooking session for the freezer and have just finished all the washing up and sat down with a cuppa and a few chocolates.
Pansy, my daughter is a numbers person, as was her dad, and both frequently bamboozled me. Maybe LC and Elsa need a daily skirmish before settling down.
Ante, it's a pity the Italians disturbed your weekend.
