Afternoon. Been baking too @Dove - an apple cake (for work) is cooling and a cherry, choc and hazelnut one is baking. I will be closing all curtains and blinds soon, ready to ignore any knocking strangers who think that they deserve sweets. We go full humbug here. Hope everyone doing ok.
New fork purchased. No bargain plants, and horror of horror, the GC is building a restaurant. One of the reasons I liked it, was that it only sold gardening related stuff.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I been busy @Hostafan1 Had to come back in - my hands are too cold, even with gloves on, and there's things I want to do which are no use with the gloves. Way of the world @punkdoc. I think it's very hard for GCs to get enough income just from plant/plant related items. Lovely pic @Obelixx. We only did it when the kids were young. I enjoyed it and so did all the kids round about. They only visited the folk they knew, and I occasionally did a party with dookin' for apples etc. I love mac and cheese but I'm the only one who does, so I never bother. Nice one @steveTu Kenny E. would never get commissioned nowadays. He was brilliant.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

You go to many garden centres and they have really expensive restaurants attached. Our local one is £9.99 for coffee and a cake
