I think you guys need a new thread for all the footb*ll*cks.

Sorry @Dovefromabove.Ā  Didn't answer before.Ā  Feeling fine now thanks tho still coughing so I sound ill.Ā  Made the pharmacist laugh.Ā  I asked her for a cough syrup to calm it down for bedtime, another to wake it all up in the morning and some cortisoneĀ  based anti-itch cream because the biters here are clearly on steroids.

On a brighter note, does anyone decorate their garden for Halloween?Ā  Friends of mine in Belgium have sent me this photo of their display, all home grown.

That looks lovely ... a German friend really goes to town with Hallowe’enĀ decorations too.Ā

We used to do a bit when Wonky and her brother were at school.

We don’t put out decorations now and we don’t get visits. Families around here get together and visit each other’s homes with parents etc supervising. It’s all very gentle and well supervised. 😊

I've never done anything for Halloween, I like Bonfire Night. Great photo though, looks like a Harvest Festival.

Coffee break, in the middle of the ironing. All those cakes and talk of cakes make me feel hungry. On a diet again, I gained the 7lbs I lost earlier this year so I've just lost them again. They won't stay lost once I get back to OH in Norfolk. He's just bought me a chocolate orange.

Well done @Busy-Lizzie.Ā  Ā Not dieting exactly but being careful since I can't do daily walkies at the mo.Ā  The two pairs of winter trousers worn for going out over the last few days are loose!!Ā  My gardening jeans are saggy anyway and can't tell with house schlepping baggies so a nice surprise and a good excuse to make new ones.
