Hi Wonks - think you need a wee place on an island, like Liri's one up hereĀ  ;)
It's very wearing if you have noisy surroundings.Ā
Looks great @Liriodendron. Cows are great neighbours, well the four legged ones areĀ Ā  :D
All very exciting for you. A meadow sounds like a great idea. Is hubby already at the cottage? Hope he's well battened down - there's gale force winds forecast for later today.Ā  :/
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • We have drizzle @WonkyWomble, but the sky is brightening. I have an indoor day today making food for tomorrow and Fri/Sat when we have a guest ... bread, a big lasagne and some cinnamon rolls are planned ...

  • Probably for the best Dove, I'm indoors today thankfully!! šŸ‘sounds yummy!! 😁

  • Hi @Fairygirl - yes, hubby arrived on the first ferry this morning, having driven through the night.Ā  Sooner him than me!Ā  But I'm sure he'll be happy to be marooned in the cottage, with a nice warm fire...

The only problem with the lovely cows (who are amazingly inquisitive - I was doing some emergency bramble hacking last week, dragging the arisings into a pile in the wood at the end of the garden, and they were definitely supervising my efforts) is that they've already knocked down part of the garden wall.Ā  Just to their left in the photo is a 4ft gap, filled with a pallet and some barbed wire... I feel a chat with the farmer coming on...Ā Ā  :)

Hosta, would you like my hot flushes? It's the true meaning of central heating! 😬
The garden is a wonderful wilderness, bit Rudy but beautiful and full of nature! The pond has established, I've got more birds than I've every had, they are causing a noise nuisance!
Hows the new bed looking? The grasses you gave me are glorious!! Thank you 😘
The new border has exceeded all my expectations

The first plants went in the week before Easter
    Devon.
  • That's lovely, @Hostafan1.Ā  Really sets off the house... amazing how quickly everything has grown.

Lovely soft romantic feel to your garden, @WonkyWomble.Ā Ā  :)

  • Oh @Hostafan1 šŸ˜ that’s gorgeous ... looking forward to seeing it for real šŸ˜†Ā

Hi Fairy! Yup 4 years if over occupying in the flat above, they went in holiday for three weeks, it was bliss, dodge came back about to give birth again, we had the bailiff knocking on our door because they had got our address from the neighbour's for their debt and the landlord still can't get rid of them! Very stressful!!
Hosta, your boarder is gorgeous!!! I'm moving to your house!!!!! 😘you must love it!!! Loving the height in it!
