Did you get your milk @Hostafan1? You could always have just gone in a nearby field and squeezed a coo ;)

You mean they dont have wellies or waders like the ones here?  :D
I think there's a good chance the ones up the road from me will have trench foot, judging by the state of the field....
Rain's actually gone orf, so I'm heading out. Catch you all later  :)

DD, I can’t believe that you’ve turned up again. I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you and Charlie we’re getting on. Maybe my thought waves travel further than I realised. 😄 love your flowers. You’ve obviously done very well. Congratulations.

Hi DD.  Good to see you.  How's Charilei?  The garden is looking good.

I have just had a visit from our neighbour who fell and broke her shoulder in 2 places 5 weeks ago and is still strapped up for another week but wanted to return the big tupperware I left there when I took her some biscuits and a cake.   She refused all our offers of help with harvesting her fruit and toms or cleaning the floors as she has family nearby and they all loved the baked goodies so she also brought some apple and peach compÎte.   Yum.

I told her about meeting the lady who used to live here and she was amazed.   Then she told us about their divorce.  Interesting.  Apparently, my new patch friend just upped and left one day.  Had it all planned out.  Husband went to work, the removal lorry arrived and they loaded up the contents except the fridge in which she left him a yoghurt for his breakfast the next day and 20€ to go and get some supper!!   Hilarious way of going on and quite some feat to get out with the furniture, 6 kids and the animals – except that the poor unsuspecting husband then went into a depression for a long time afterwards and Annik doesn’t think the 6th child was his.  Some people do get up to some rum stuff.

OH is very tired after our weekly raid on the SM.  Lots of calls about insurance and cars and the other pair so a busy day for him but they all seem cheerful, if sore.

I hope everyone's day is shaping up well for a good weekend in store.

  • Hi again, we're both doing really well, he's in 2nd year of secondary school now, the Tearoom is busier than I could ever have imagined and I have a lovely gentle new man in my life who loves gardening - well happy to help anyway. 😁 It was nice to drop in & see same people still getting along nicely - I'll try desperately to keep more up to date! Thanks for the warm welcome back. 😁

@Dordogne Damsel- I  couldn't be more thrilled for you. I sincerely hope your new man continues to be a great support, and more,  for you. Lots of love to both of you xxx  :)
@Obelixx- you never know what goes on behind closed doors. I had to leave with the clothes I stood up in, and then face going back for all my stuff with the police present. 'Nuff said. I'm glad to be on my own with just the girls.  :)
