Never any shortage of ars**oles on the roads in bad weather @Dovefromabove. I'd add Audi drivers to that list now, and all the people with cars that no longer seem to have working indicators on them... :|
Nice naked 'chaps'. I've just bought some white species crocus for various places.
Soem nice purchases for you too @Obelixx. Glad hubby is ok. When will you hear about the car? They're never too hasty if it comes to paying out, should that be the case.  :/
I should try and give the back grass a tidy too @Yviestevie. Been doing some fiddly little jobs and generally faffing,, this afternoon. Pleasant though  :)
Daughter has made dinner. Sauage casserole. It's that time of year - bit of comfort food.

Lovely to have your dinner cooked for you @Fairygirl.  Possum did that once or twice while here over the summer.  You and @Dovefromabove are right about plonkers and rain.  Over here, there is a motorway speed limit for rainy weather and most people seem to comply but there are always some eejits.   As for speeding, I'm afraid our region has the highest road deaths for young drivers and it's all about speeding.

I have just spent a pleasant half hour perusing Chilterns and have ordered 100 quids' worth of seeds in order to get it done before problems start.  All because I couldn't find seeds for Bishop's Children locally and they haven't heard of cavolo nero or medium chilies either.  They'll have to go in the fridge when they arrive cos they won't all get swon at once.

    Hi all.

Terrible night. Drip.... drip..... drip, I might have to kill the builders, if they ever bother to contact me.

  • Good morning, saved by the sunshine today, have a table of 25 booked at 2:15 & was worried about where all the regular lunchtimers would sit (we are only tiny inside) but the sun has got his hat on & they can all sit on the terrace & in the garden. Thank you to someone up there. 😁 Rain forecast for the rest of the week though. So impatient for a dry spell, I want to get my bulbs in. 😋 Good day to all.

Morning everyone. It’s been quite warm today. I hope this isn’t the start of summer yet. I’m not ready or it.

What has been interesting is seeing all the street plantings of the various Prunus trees in full flower and then miraculously they have dropped and the Malus trees have sprung into bloom.  I’ve got a few Crabapples which are looking very good and the ones in the village are taking over. My Jonquils are good too, this year. 😄

Good morning.  Persisting down here which is great, especially as I have loads to get on with indoors.

I expect our mystery leak is back today @Punkdoc and I don't know any roofers.  Will have to do some research.   Good luck finding one who'll come to yours.

Washing drying indoors here too @Dovefromabove but no heating needed just yet.

I've just been out t feed the birds and got very wet down my back.  Not very nice.   Hope you stay well wrapped @Hostafan1 and anyone else who has to be out in the rain.

Thanks for all your thoughts on my Dads experience - I will be contacting PALS tomorrow.

Great concert at the Albert Hall last night .......I love that space 😍

Today’s excitement is a visit to “Screwfix Live” .......(well Mr C comes garden visiting with me, so it would rude not to 🙄).  But first I need to whip up a cheesecake for a neighbours get together this evening 🥮
