Evening all. Emergency extraction first thing. " no lifting anything over 5kg" oops. Bless'em at Waitrose, they sent someone out with me to do the heavy lifting. Just home after 10 1/2 hours. Can't have anything hot, so ice cream for dinner, lol
Glad nothing too serious with hubby @Obelixx. It's the fright you get as much as anything else though. Hope all the others recover well too. x It's as good an excuse as any @Hostafan1. Hope you're ok Ferdiddling down, so the clematis is well watered in Went to collect a new pair of walking shoes at my local Sainsbury. You'd think when they're overtaking a learner driver in peeing rain, they would have more common sense wouldn't you? The usual t*ssers cutting in and out. Fairylet kept her nerve though, and coped no probs. She still gets astonished at the daft things folk do in rush hour traffic.

He is home now @Fairygirl and shaken and stirred and a bit emotional as well as stiff and sore. I suspect he'd be less wobbly if he'd been on his own but having the other passengers to worry about has made it worse I think.
Strikes me your diet is odd anyway when your hubby is away @Hostafan so ice cream will be just fine.

Glad your OH seems to be mainly OK @Obelixx and the others. Must have been a real frightener though, I think its the sheer volume of noise that is so scary in a vehicle accident and you don't forget that in a hurry.
You're right @Fairygirl, there is some appalling driving around these days.
A bit of a day for some I see. Glad OH home safe and sound Obelixx, but expect he will be very sore tomorrow. I’m busy worker bee this week but this time next week will be the start of a long weekend off. Going to pick a programme or podcast for bedtime now. ‘The Infinite Monkey Cage’ is back on plus I’m enjoying ‘Something Rhymes with Purple’ and my regular ‘No Such Thing as a Fish’ (all podcasts).
Best wishes for your Hubby Obelixx. Hope he can start to relax soon. Such a shock for him and his passengers. Funny cooincidence about your garden history. Always good to find out these things.
Morning all/afties Pat. There was a very pink sky when I got up a while ago. Not sure what the weather has in store for us today. Think hubby might be even sorer today @Obelixx. Some tlc will be required for him. @Lizzie27 - I remember the first time someone hit me in a car - you're right, the noise is incredible. I decided to support @Hostafan1 last night and have a mini Magnum after dinner. I felt that I'd earned it....somehow

Good morning all ... packing and heading home today 😢 breaking the journey two thirds of the way. We also supported @Hostafan1 and had Cornish ice cream and fudge before we went to bed last night. Hope all poorly, damaged, wobbly and fragile feeling folk feel a lot better today 🤗
