You often wonder how some businesses survive , doc. I suppose they'll be inundated though, but when I had the leaky roof the company I used were brilliant, and very efficient, despite the amount of rain we were experiencing at that time. No excuse for not responding nowadays.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Ta muchly @Dovefromabove. Now I just need some warm sun to make it perfect. Can you send some? It's still only 14 degrees here and I need my woolly simmit on to go outdoors I have my suspicions about that new thread asking for ID in text speak. It's the same person but now has a woman's name. Go figure

as for him/her/them with the bugs ... perhaps they’ve not made their mind up yet 😉
'LOL' All just seemed a bit weird to me. Hey ho.
Safe journey home. I've been digging a large hole to plant my E.Violette into the ground behind my screen thingy. Why does it look like there's ten times as much stuff as the size of the hole? The big bits of stone/rock were a bit of a b*llbreaker. If I had them of course.....

Thanks @Chicky and everyone for their kind messages.
OH finally phoned at 4:30. He'd done an Obxx and gone out without re-charging his mobile............ Anyway, he's been X-rayed and no skeletal damage so painkillers, anti-inflammatories and rest for him. His lady companion was just going for MRI scans but hopes to be allowed home. She's in her early 70s and didn't have a steering wheel to hold onto so is more shaken than my OH. Her hubby has driven up to take care of her and will bring them home.
T'other fella was in the back seat and got more of a shock so is blocked in his back and arms. He'll be staying in for observaton and treatment. The truck driver is young and in shock and not coherent. Don't know about his injuries or anyone from the 2 cars in front that got shunted. Have to wait to see how Harry, the car, is and whether he's reparable or replaceable.
Meanwhile, I've had machine patchwork class to distract me and, quelle surprise!! The new lady in our class used to live in our house. Got divorced so sold up to our predecessors who also got divorced. No chain tho. The couple before them got divorced too so that's the 3.
She's the one who buried all those roof tiles where I thought I'd plant a load of roses and clems and things. Tells me there used to be a huge stone fireplace in the kitchen. Talk about a small world and coincidences.
That's a good view for breakfast @Dovefromabove. Al fresco or did you sleep out on the beach?
I know exactly what you mean about digging out huge stones @Fairygirl. Done my share of that this year to get the roses and clems in their new bed. Now we've had some rain I'll no doubt be digging more holes and excavating rocks.

@Obelixx we were on the terrace of a very good little beach cafe 😋 So glad your OH isn’t too bad ... rotten thing to have happened ... there but for the grace .... etc etc etc.
