Nowt worse than a confused knee.... ;)
We're supposed to get thunder etc later. Hope it's better than Sunday's. It was slightly disappointing. I like a good, full on, all singing, all dancing storm  ;)

That’s definitely what we had ... singing and dancing around the harbour-side rooftops ...

We've had a few this year - we don't often have the right conditions for them so it's always good when we do   :D

    Hi all

Rain of biblical proportions here, no chance of bulb planting today.

Did you hear her speech? What a remarkable girl. How dare people criticise the youth of today.
Moira off to York today, she has to sign the Official Secrets Act, seems a bit strange to me.

    Morning all.
Go Greta, Go Greta, Go Greta. Inspirational speech. I hope those in the "audience" felt suitably ashamed and humbled.
Best wishes to Moira. New jobs always make me feel like I'm at my first day at Primary School.

  • Best wishes to Moira @punkdoc ... from what farming family tell me
Defra are in urgent need of someone who can identify the dots and then join them up. More power to her elbow 👍

Re: signing the OSA - always though this was an entirely symbolic and pointless process. The Act applies equally to everyone whether you sign it or not.

Planted a fan palm at the weekend. Had to use a pickaxe to dig the foot deep planting hole and it was bone dry all the way down. I suspect it might be a bit damper now.

Good morning.   I hope Greta made all those people feel exceedingly uncomfortable and did you see the scowl she sent to Trump?   Magnificent.

Love a good thunderstorm too @Fairygirl but none here at the mo and we've had a mere 3mm of the 10mm forecast for this morning.

Just seen the ruling from the Supreme Court.  Interesting times.

We have had rain of biblical proportions.  I slept through it all as I had taken Night Nurse.  Still feeling rough this morning but at least I'm not missing any gardening time.  Greta speech was amazing she has such passion, we need more like her. Haven't got anything planned just lazing about recovering.
