    Morning all/afties Pat. Hope you're not too chilly. Lots of hot drinksĀ  ;)
    Have you had much rain at all @Obelixx? Not sure I could deal with that.Ā
    Another chilly night last night, although warmer than the previous one, and it was sunny when I got up , but it's cloudy now, bit like yesterday.Ā
    You've had some strange dreams @Dovefromabove. Any chance of doing the washing up for me?
    Did you see that woman who's just swum the channel four times? She ended up doing over 50 % more because of the currents. Amazing achievementĀ  :o
    Are you enjoying A Confession @AuntyRach? I didn't see your post last night.

    Morning šŸ˜Ž

    Gorgeous day out there, wall to wall blue sky šŸ’™. Will try to get out on the bike at lunchtime, and off for a walk this evening to make the most of it šŸ˜€

    Last of the Beth pears today, but the Lord Lambourne apples are now at their best .....so tasty šŸ˜‹. Ā And a bowl of raspberries and another of tomatoes every day ......we’re certainly getting our Vit C from the garden at the moment ā˜€ļø

    Working at home today @Chicky?

    We had 1mm on the 7th @Fairygirl and .3mm on the 9th so barely enough to lay the dust.Ā  Ā That's fine at the mo as we're too busy to do much but come late this month and all next month I'd like to be getting the new dugs bed for my trees and shrubs to go out and rain would be good for planting after that.

    @Fairygirl ... not a chance ... sorry šŸ˜‰Ā

    @Hostafan1 ... please don’t over exert yourself on our account ... we’re used to cornfields, water meadows and reed beds šŸ˜‚ But we are looking forward to seeing your new Long Border ... your garden and Gt Dixter eh? šŸ˜‰Ā

    Won't the dug have difficulty getting into that?
    It's okĀ  -Ā  I know what you meantĀ  :D
    I keep emptying a bucket into theĀ  pond - the last two days there's been nothing, but there's often a couple of inches, or more,Ā  from one day/night. I might get one of those rain guages.Ā
    Sounds like a plan @chicky - but will you actually get any work done?Ā  ;)

    Had a great nights sleep last night so felt in the mood to tackle some jobs in the garden.Ā  Took Bestie out first for cake at Ashwoods as it was her birthday in the week.Ā  Bought a couple of little sedums for the front of the border (coca cola) and 4 heathers to brighten up some of the pots that are going over (Dark Knight).Ā  Took my friend some foxgloves I had grown from seed and she gave me a lovely fuchsia that she had no room for in her garden.Ā  When I got back home I planted all the gifts and purchases, did some deadheading and potted on some white lupins.Ā  Quite a productive day.
