Morning all/afties Pat if you're still thereĀ  :)
Hope @Dovefromabove's journey is going ok.
Hope the estimate of the shingles time is correct @Liriodendron. Or better than that - you don't want to have that lingering when you need all your energy to move.
Damp and dank here, but it's supposed to be better later, and looking good for the next few days. We were due a bit of dry weather. Some nice colour on the trees too.Bit later than usual, but always very welcome. The hawthorns all look weighed down with berries
I seem to have no berries on my pyracantha for some odd reason. Not sure why - it was laden with flowers as normal, and looks perfectly well. Hmmm.
Wonder if that horse stayed in it's field last night. It was well on it's way to getting strangled, and damaged by that swinging fence stob. As was IĀ  :D

Good morning.Ā  Ā Sunny again and clear skies but a brisk breeze so feeling fresh.Ā  Loads of berries on our hawthorn too @Fairygirl but there are no walnuts this year.Ā  Ā Others have the same problem.Ā  Noo pyrcantha here yet but there are cotoneaster trees that are usually covered in red and I haven't noticed that this year.

Patch machine class starts again this pm so quiet pottering for me this am to make sure I have everything.Ā  Ā Bonzo massage to do too.

Hope you get your sunshine everyone and safe journey @Dovefromabove and anyone else on the road today.

Went exploring down to the bottom of the garden yesterday. Haven't been down there since February and it is a bit of a jungle - rumour has it that there is an unsurrendered Japanese soldier still living there. Discovered that a hazel I had coppiced a few years ago had a small crop of nuts that the squirrel hadn't snaffled yet so harvested them and made a very small jar of hazelnut butter.

While I was bashing through the jungle others were just lying around on the lawn topping up their tans.

Lovley when they're sitting down, not eating your plantsĀ  ;)

Is it any warmer for you today @Pat E? Sun's just coming out now here, so I'll get more done outside I think.

    Evening everyone.
Expect Hosta and Dove are having a right good gossip and some delicious food no doubt.Ā
Day off today - couldn’t quite get motivated to do much revision, partly as the weather was so gorgeous and partly as just having a tired day today.Ā
Hope all forkers are doing ok.

My garden and I live in South Wales.Ā

A little bit of R&R can do the world of good though @AuntyRach. All work and no play, and all thatĀ  :)
Been lovely here today. I've been footling and doodling about, doing odds and sods. Rather nice.
We had a stunning sunset 10 minutes ago. I don't get a very good view of them from this house, but the sky was orange & pink for quite a while, dipping behind the trees. Beautiful.Ā  :)
