I think the fish thing has stopped for elfandsafty reasons.
Would that be the clients' elfandsafty, or the fishes'?

I wonder what became of all the redundant fish?  Remind me not to order whitebait.

They would have incorporated cheese sauce. The same principle as feeding lamb with mint sauce, pigs with apples and blankets and cows with Yorkshire puddings.

More like economics.  There's a fish pedicure place at the nearest seaside place here but I doubt it's there off season.

I saw one a few miles away. Whilst waiting at traffic lights, I looked in the window and saw a murky fish tank. I think the shop sells fried chicken now.

I think it was a combination of ‘elf n safety
    (the clients’) and finance.

Putting your feet in a tank of water where countless other feet had been dangled before was seen, quite reasonably IMHO, to have potential for spreading infections. The work entailed in constantly cleaning and changing the fish tank and water was considered by the business owners to be financially unviable ... that’s what I read somewhere a while back ... goodness knows where tho 🐠

Both.  People with manky, diseased feet seemed to think that sticking them in water for fish to chew on was a good idea.

Hope @Hexagon ‘s sore foot is feeling better today. I see she was up in the night ... hope that’s not because of the pain 😲

Glad it’s not as bad as that 😧 😉 but it was painful and throbbing ... not nice at all. Do take care 👍
