Pedicure people use a blade ‘cos they are trained!!! (and insured) 😉

Also they only use it if you’ve let the condition get out of hand.

The grater things work if you soak first and use it properly.  I have feet and they work for me. 😂

    Also using handcream
on your feet before you go to bed and before putting your socks on in the morning will keep the skin on your feet soft and stop the hard skin forming.

‘All night to heal’ obviously wasn’t long enough or it wouldn’t still be throbbing 🙄

You can get things a bit like a cheese grater only finer from Boots the Chemist. In future use one of those and a pumice stone đŸŠ¶  ... sooo much safer (and they do the job better too).
Well that's put me right off parmesan for a while.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

There used to be those fish places but I think they went out of style? Haven’t seen any in a long time. I never went because I didn’t want to fill out a form. Plus those fish can’t remove hard compacted skin, just bits that are hanging off...?

I know at least one existed a couple of years ago in Street but no idea of if it is still going.  Maybe they were just Fad things ?
Piranhas  ( sp ? )would be best for the tough stuff I suppose - can't see that catching on tho

Sorry B3 - did you want to move on or move up - scaly elbows perhaps ?
I understand there is a huge audience for people "popping" boils and pimples etc.

Feet are ok. Bits of hard skin hanging off feet, and any other zombie -like manifestations .No.

They look like my feet after a long day on a hill @B3 :D
I use sandpaper and a wood block. Cheap as chips [cheaper actually] and very effective.
I have also been known to use the electric sander  ;)
Hope it's better soon @Hexagon. Might be worth a trip to the doc though, if isn't better soon. Don't want an infection or summat.

Best smoothest and free. Walk along Camber Sands barefoot . The sand has lots of tiny shell particles - maybe that's why it give the best pedicure.

I used to do beach walks barefoot but can't now cos of the knee which needs an even and predictable surface.  We have  Scholl foot grater and I use it on my heels every time I shower.   Couldn't possibly cope with fish tickling my feet.
