No water pressure here, we have our own pumping station, (paid for by the water board) never more than a tiddle  out of the hose pipe.
No chance of an electric shower but decent enough from the tank.
I’d rather live with the inconveniences than live in the town.

Thanks folks, for your shower of good wishes  :)  Our water comes from the same source as the mineral water plant high above us and the well seems to supply endless quantities, but as an ex-townie I live in fear of it one day running dry. It’s amazing we got the pressure we did just on a gravity feed, but looking forward to a really good shower. Of course I might get curmudgeonly again when I see the next electricity bill  :o

The hotel we stayed at Tuesday night had a walk in shower with one of those big square rainshower heads so we thought 'goody'. It turned out to be a not very hot trickle the next morning! I did think it rather odd it was attached to the hosepipe half way up the wall - they are usually fixed on the ceiling aren't they?

Size does not necessarily increase performance @Lizzie27 ;)

We have one of those big rain shower heads in a huge walk-in shower in our garage. It’s big enough to convert into a roomy sauna (the shower, not the shower head). What did the previous owners do in there, I wonder? The mind boggles.

That’s funny you should say that about the big shower head in the garage, at our previous house it had a big garage and the people who bought it had 3 Newfoundland dogs, apparently they love water so they installed one of those big shower heads and made half into a wet room for the dogs.

Well we also have a Gossera, which is a kennels, with large dog flaps leading to outside runs - each kennel is big enough to house a horse so I’m thinking Pyrenean Mountain dogs. But I reckon the shower was for human use, Lyn (it’s ceiling mounted). Perhaps they parked the car in the garage for their dogging sessions and had a communal shower afterwards. The also had a large bar built under the stairs in the hall. If only houses could talk!

I don't like those rainfall shower things. I hate getting soap over my face and it's impossible not to
